Pekin’s Miller Center group

Pekin Miller Center group visits Graceland Center!

The members of the Pekin Miller Center hopped on the bus and came over to visit us at Graceland Center in August. Their Director, Alisha Duvalt, brought fun and laughter with new games and tricks to exercise while having fun! 

We learned about how the Miller Center was started over 40 years ago and is a part of the Pekin Park District. Their slogan "Enjoy Your Age" resonated with our participants as they envision how Peoria will support them in their later years. The happy bunch joined us for lunch and learning with "Healthy Sleep Tips" presented by Thomas Hinton, with Circadian Health.
