Graceland Center For Purposeful Aging is seeking a passionate and experienced leader who wants to make a meaningful difference. We are hiring a Volunteer Executive Director to lead our nonprofit organization and help expand our impact within the community. A minimum of 20 hours and up to full time (40+ hours) per week will be necessary to fulfill the requirements of this role successfully and this is an unpaid volunteer position.
This role will work closely with our Board of Directors to provide strategic leadership, oversee daily operations, strengthen community partnerships, and guide fundraising and program development.
We are looking for a mission-driven leader who is committed to service, collaboration, and organizational growth.
• 🗓️ Part-time / VOLUNTEER. 20 hrs/week; no benefits
• 📍 Westminster Community Center site location
• 💼 Experience required: Leadership roles, Financial Management, Entrepreneurial Skills a MUST!

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Providing strategic leadership and direction aligned with the organization’s mission and goals
• Working collaboratively with the Board of Directors to implement policies and strategic initiatives
• Overseeing program operations, financial management, and organizational administration
• Cultivating relationships with community partners, donors, and stakeholders
• Leading fundraising and resource development efforts
• Supporting and supervising staff while fostering a positive and collaborative organizational culture
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated leadership experience in nonprofit management, administration, or a related field
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Experience with fundraising, grant development, and financial oversight preferred
• A passion for community service and advancing the mission of the organization
