April 14th Annual Township Meeting

Graceland  Center has brought forth a petition with 70 signatures to request to be on the Annual Meeting of the Peoria Township. Our petition is to request that a "Special Meeting" be called for the discussion and implementation of a study for the Township for the purpose of using Township funds to provide service to senior citizens. This is a public meeting, all may attend. Voters who live in Peoria Township will be eligible to vote in the Annual Meeting. Please show up and demonstrate your commitment to the need of a senior center for Peoria! Come early to be sure to get a seat and bring your ID!  Voting YES to have a "Special Meeting" will enable Graceland Center and other advocates to discuss the needs of Peoria's older adults and explore how these needs can be met, potentially with the assistance of Township funding.
